We are looking for a team member for the position of "TEST ENGINEER” who will take a key role in the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Computer/Software/Mathematical Engineering, MIS (Management Information Systems) or related fields,
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Test Engineer, or related,
• Understanding of SDLC phases and their impact on testing activities,
• Basic understanding of SQL for querying databases and verifying data integrity during testing,
• Implementing and maintaining automated test suites for web, mobile, and API testing,
• Experience with testing across different operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and environments (desktop, web, mobile),
• Proficiency in debugging software issues and identifying root causes,
• Ability to analyze logs and system outputs to troubleshoot issues effectively,
• Familiarity with testing tools for performance testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner), security testing (e.g., OWASP ZAP), and API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured),
• Experience in writing automated test scripts using languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript,
• Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications,
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks,
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure adherence to quality standards,
• Perform regression testing to validate software functionality and stability after code changes,
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test requirements and ensure timely resolution of issues,
• Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams to facilitate continuous improvement,
• Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and other relevant meetings to provide input on testability and quality considerations,
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of testing processes,
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and techniques to optimize efficiency and effectiveness,
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide status updates, escalate issues, and ensure alignment on testing priorities and objectives,
• Participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
