Preschool Teachers (Native&Non-native)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Turkish-American Association is looking for Teachers of English (native or non-native) to be employed as Preschool Teachers in its preschool located in Cinnah Ankara. Applications that fail to meet the criteria given below will not be considered for the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

Graduates of English Language Teaching, Preschool Teaching, Early Childhood Education, Child Development and Education, American Literature, British Literature and other teaching related fields.

EXPERIENCE

· Experienced with 2-6 age groups or to have the potential to develop these skills 

· To have knowledge and understanding about preschool education approaches and methods 

· To be able to communicate strongly with young children 

· Being a good observer for young children 

· To have the knowledge and skills to develop activities related to Preschool Education 

· To be responsible for the development of listening and speaking skills in english of young children 

· To monitor and report regularly on the developmental areas of preschoolers 

· To inform parents about their children's development by attending parent meetings 

· To control, evaluate and report the work of each children in their group 

· Having the skills to establish class management when working with 2-6 year olds 

· Having strong interpersonal communication skills in child, parent and internal relationships 

· High ability to listen, understand and express oneself 

· Enjoying working with preschoolers 

· Being able to use Microsoft Office applications effectively 

· Having creative thinking skills 

· To be prone to teamwork, to be part of a team 

· To have a sense of responsibility and highly disciplined
