Financial Controller

As Konica Minolta Turkey İş Teknolojileri A.Ş. (BTR) is currently seeking a “Financial Controller” to work in BTR Finance department.

QUALIFICATIONS

· University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field with a concentration on accounting and finance

· At least 1-2 years background in Tax Audit at PwC (PriceWaterhouse Coopers) or EY (Ernst & Young)

· SMMM certificate is a must

· Fluency in English is a must

· Proficiency in MS Office programs

· Excellent communication skills

· Effective in team work

· High analytical skills

· Goal oriented

· Proven working experience as a Financial Controller

· 2+ years of accounting and finance experience. 

· Exposure to Financial or Professional services environment is desirable

· Advanced degree in Accounting

· Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

· Experience with creating financial statements

· Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process

· Excellent accounting software user and administration skills

· Demonstratable understanding of accounting principles and procedures

· Experience of managing and developing team members

· Demonstratable experience of process improvement projects

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Have adequate knowledge of legislation specific to the Financial Service Clients

· Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and adhoc reports

· Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

· Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

· Support and Supervise month-end and year-end close process

· Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

· Manage and comply with local and TFRS reporting requirements and declaration form filings such as VAT,Stamp Tax, Witholding tax, Corporate tax

· Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

· Oversee accounting operations including AR, AP, GL, and Cash Management

· Develop, update and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

· Ensure quality control over financial transactions, payments, and financial reporting

· Manage the operations of both external and internal audits

· Assist with finance projects including automation of processes and updating of chart of accounts

· Additional duties as necessary
